Payment Policy

This Payment Policy outlines the methods of payment accepted by Serren Bouska Hollingsworth Photography for photography services and products purchased on our websites. It also details the timing of payments, our policy on sales tax, and information about payment processing fees.  Please review this policy carefully before booking a session or placing an order.

Acceptable Forms of Payments

Serren Bouska Hollingsworth Photography accepts the following payment methods for photography services and products purchased through our websites:

  • Credit Card: We accept major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, processed securely through Stripe, our online payment gateway.
  • Debit Card: Most major debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo are accepted through Stripe.
  • PayPal: We also accept payments via PayPal.


Payment Timing

  • Sessions: A non-refundable initial payment is required to book your photography session. The amount of this initial payment is determined by the total cost of your session:
  • Sessions costing more than $300: A non-refundable initial payment totaling thirty percent (30%) of the total price is required.
  • Sessions under $300: The non-refundable initial payment is fifty percent (50%) of the total price.
  • Pageant Stage Shot Sessions: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance for your session is due 7 days before your session date.


Please note:  This initial payment reserves the photographer's time and is not considered a retainer or deposit.  By making this payment, Serren Bouska Hollingsworth Photography agrees to not advertise the availability of the same time slot to other potential clients.  If you, the client, cancel the session for any reason, the initial payment will not be refunded and will act as a cancellation fee.


Sales Tax

Sales tax is already included in the service price for photography sessions. However, any physical products purchased will have sales tax added at checkout.


Payment Processing Fees

There are no additional processing fees for using a credit card, debit card, or Stripe. Standard PayPal fees may apply.


Additional Payment Options

For pageant day session payments only, we accept Venmo and PayPal in addition to the online payment options listed above.


Security

We take your financial information security seriously. All transactions are processed through secure online payment gateways (Stripe and PayPal) that encrypt your credit card information. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.


Changes to Payment Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Payment Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
