We understand that unexpected things can come up, so please refer to our Appointment Policies for information on cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, and no-shows.

At Serren Bouska Hollingsworth Photography, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be adjusted. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both our clients and ourselves, we kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with our appointment policies below.
Cancellation Policy:
We appreciate at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your scheduled session. This allows us ample time to adjust our schedule and accommodate other clients.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance can be rescheduled for a mutually agreeable date and time within 5 days of the original session.
- Your initial payment will be applied towards the rescheduled session.
- We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, however, clients are only allowed one reschedule following the initial booking.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session will incur a rescheduling fee of $100. The rescheduled session must be booked within 72 hours of the original date and time.
No-Show Policy:
We value your time and ours. Clients who do not show up for their scheduled session without prior notice will unfortunately forfeit their initial payment. To reschedule or book a new session, you will need to restart the booking process, including a new initial payment.
Late Arrival Policy:
We kindly request that you arrive for your session at least 15 minutes early. This buffer time allows you to relax, settle in, and address any last-minute wardrobe adjustments.
- Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late will be charged a late fee of $30. The photoshoot will continue for the remaining paid session time. Depending on the photographer's availability, extensions may be possible, but are not guaranteed.
- Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be considered a no-show and will be subject to the no-show policy as outlined above.
Rescheduling:
We understand that situations may arise that require rescheduling your session. Please note that rescheduling is done at the photographer's discretion. Sessions will not be rescheduled due to client dissatisfaction with personal appearance (such as clothing, hair, or makeup) or uncooperative subjects.
Inclement Weather:
Serren Bouska Hollingsworth Photography is happy to work with you rain or shine! Sometimes, unexpected weather conditions can create unique and beautiful backdrops for your photos. However, we understand that not everyone enjoys being photographed in less-than-ideal weather. If you are concerned about the weather on your session date, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your session.
Photographer's Late Arrival/Cancellation:
We strive to be professional and punctual. The photographer will typically arrive at least 15 minutes early for your session. In the unlikely event that the photographer runs late, we assure you that the full session duration will still be honored. Additionally, we will offer a 10% discount on your session as a courtesy for the inconvenience.
If unforeseen circumstances beyond the photographer's control necessitate cancelling your session with less than 48 hours' notice, we will reschedule your session at your earliest convenience, subject to availability. In such cases, you will not be charged a penalty. However, if the cancellation is due to reasons outside of our control, such as fire, illness (including COVID-19), or acts of God, we will refund your initial payment but will not be held liable for any further damages. The same applies in the rare case that photographic materials are lost or damaged during processing or delivery.
